The Power of God
Hello everyone,
How are you doing today? I hope well and
bubbling in the Lord. So, this daily encouragement would be the last for this
year. Daily encouragement would start again sometime next year by God’s grace.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a great 2013 in advance. Please feel free to
check past daily encouragements at the blog spot at www.beeencouraged.blogspot.com.
We thank God for Jesus. We thank God that we can look forward to an eternity
spend with Him Amen. The Bible says:
Primary Text
“But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power
of God, and the wisdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 1v24 (KJV)
Our Lord is called the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Amen. John
1v11-13 (NIV) says that “He came to that which was His own, but His own did not
receive Him. Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name,
He gave the right to become children of God – children born not of natural
descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” Hallelujah.
Thank God for the right, or the power to become children of God. Praise the
Lord. 1 Corinthians 1v18 (NIV) tells us “For the message of the cross is
foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are saved it is the power
of God.” Thank God for the salvation of our souls.
Supplementary Text
“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation [for
deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and
a confidence surrender and firm
reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, For in the Gospel a
righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and
leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more
faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.” Romans 1v16-17
