Merry Christmas and a Wonderful 2017 in advance (last daily encouragement of the year)
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well
and bubbling in the Lord. This is the last daily encouragement for this year. We
thank God for a great year so far, and for bringing us to the last month of the
year. There is so much to be thankful to God for – salvation, deliverance,
protection, provision, for counting as His children. We thank God for the
trying of our faith that has been more precious than gold. We are also grateful
to God for His Holy Spirit that has been with us thus far. As the year draws to
an end, my prayer is that “… the God of
our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of
wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray that the
eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope
to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in
His holy people, and His incomparably great power for us
who believe….” Ephesians 1v17-19 (NIV). I pray too to the Father from Ephesians
3v16-19 (NIV) that “out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power
through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may
dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being
rooted and established in love, may have power, together
with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and
deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge
— that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to
Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
according to His power that is at work within us, to
Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for
ever and ever! Amen.” I wish you a great Christmas and a wonderful 2017 in
advance.
