What care?
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling on this day? We thank God
for He cares for us.
Primary Text
“But
with me it is a very small thing ….” 1 Corinthians 4v3 (KJV)
“I
care very little …” 1 Corinthians 4v3 (NIV)
What
is a care? A care can be “a state of mind in which one is troubled; worry,
anxiety, or concern: He was never free
from care; serious attention; solicitude; heed; caution: She devotes great care to her work.” A
care could therefore be in the sense of worrying, fretting, anxiety or paying
attention to something. What then do you do with a care? Whether it is one
where you are worried or even being a good steward? 1 Peter 5v7 (NLT) says “Give
all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.” One pastor will say
learn to talk things over with the Lord. Many times we want to hold onto our
worries, and cares, and think we’ve got this. But God wants you to give it to
Him, let Him have it. Let Him give you His peace, comfort, wisdom, guidance,
and work things out. What does His care mean? It means “to be concerned or
solicitous; have thought or regard; to make provision or look out…; to have an
inclination, liking, fondness, or affection.” Yes beloved, God loves you and He
likes you and He is concerned about you. He is fond of you. He wants to know
how you are doing. He doesn’t want you worried or fretting. Already He said “Peace
I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the
world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let
them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do
not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and
unsettled.]” John 14v27 (AMP). And also “I have told you these things, so that
in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulations
and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be
confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived
it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” Hallelujah! Learn to
take it all to the Lord. Do you perceive an unsettlement coming on you - take
everything to God: what to wear? Money for food, need a good deal, a job, grace
to fast, want to get married, a test, interview or presentation, marital
issues, wisdom for raising the children - Take it all to God!
Supplementary Text
“Do
not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in
everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving,
continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that
tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so
fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever
sort it is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount
guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4v6-7 (AMP)
Prayer
…
Pray about it!
