The God that Answers

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

“And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].” Mark 11v22-24 (AMP)

Today’s encouragement is to remind us that God answers prayers. I have seen it in my life and I believe you too have in yours. He is a God that we call upon, hears us and answers us, even as we pray in accordance to His will. But how many of us actually pray in faith believing, as opposed to being casual about our requests? Do you pray knowing that God is hearing and looking to answer you or are you praying with a – maybe He will, maybe He won’t? Are you really desirous of what you are praying and looking up to God for? If you do not take your prayer seriously, should we expect God to take it seriously? Matthew 7v7-8 (AMP) says “Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.”

Prayer

Why don’t you take your request to Him in faith, believing He is hearing You, and will answer You. Remember to pray according to His will.
