Maximizing the Time (2)

Dearly beloved. I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for every time and every season we have. Ephesians 5:15-17 (TLB) admonishes us that “So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don’t be fools; be wise: make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to.”

The Amplified Version puts it this way “Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.”

Prayer

Father, thank You for You are the all-knowing, all-powerful, all-present God. You are also the One who possesses wisdom. Father, we pray, teach us to number our days, help us to spend them as we should. Grant us wisdom to walk in the path and plans You have for our lives, in Jesus name, amen.
