His Understanding of Us

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“So overflowing is His kindness toward us that He took away all our sins through the blood of His Son, by whom we are saved; and He has showered down upon us the richness of His grace – for how well He understands us and knows what is best for us at all times.” Ephesians 1v7-8 (TLB)

Our God is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the Almighty. He knows the end of a matter before it even begins because He is the Almighty…. and He loves us. With that in mind it should not be hard for us to entrust Him with our lives, our times and our all. But I find that sometimes at the back of our minds while we say Lord let Your will be done, we might hold back a certain area of our life from Him touching, because we might be unsure of what His will would be. But beloved, can you trust that God who created you, knows and understands you well and knows what is best for you at all times? Can you trust Him with your life, your times and your all and in obedience walk with Him? His love for us is demonstrated, among other things, in that He sent His only begotten Son to die for us. Ephesians 1v5 (AMP) says “For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]—” Additionally, Romans 8v32 (AMP) aptly says “He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and gracious give us all [other] things?” Amen. However, I will urge us all to seek to know the Lord for who He is, not what He can give us, that we will indeed have deep intimacy and fellowship with Him.

Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your love for us. We thank You Jesus for laying down Your life for us. This day Lord, we ask that we want to know You more, we want to become deeply acquainted and intimate with You. We desire to fellowship with Your Spirit and to keep ourselves in the love of God even as we wait for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in His mercy is going to give us. We love and appreciate You Lord and pray all this with thanksgiving in Jesus name, amen.
