The Helper

Dearly Beloved. I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. God recognizes that we need help and that is amazing. When Jesus was on earth, the disciples felt comforted when He was around. But Jesus being in human form was limited to being in one place at a time. God has now sent the Holy Spirit to be with us always. Hallelujah. He is in you and with you and He is your Helper. Fellowship with Him and let Him guide you.

And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor — Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever — the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you.” John 14v16-17 (AMP)

 

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the blessing of Your precious Spirit to be with us always. Holy Spirit, we thank You for You are our Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener and Standby. Thank You Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We desire to be intimate with You Spirit of Truth and fellowship with You. You are in me and with me and I love and appreciate You. We ask for more of Your Spirit in Jesus name, amen.
