Noah
Hello everyone,
How are you doing today? I hope well and
bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“And God did not spare the ancient world –
except for Noah and the seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of
God’s righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of
ungodly people with a vast flood.” 2 Peter 2v5 (NLT).
“The LORD observed the extent of human
wickedness on the earth, and He saw that everything they thought or imagined
was consistently and totally evil. So the LORD was sorry He had ever made them
and put them on the earth. It broke His heart …[The Story of Noah] This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah
was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and
he walked in close fellowship with God.” (Genesis 6v5, 6, 9, NLT). Many of us
have heard some variation of this verse “The grace (favor and spiritual
blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship
(the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be
with you all. Amen (so be it).” (2 Corinthians 13v14, AMP). The Bible further
tells us in Galatians 5v16 (AMP) “But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the
cravings and desires of the flesh (of
human nature without God).” Beloved, it doesn’t matter what you see around you,
it doesn’t matter the evil that you see or what other people are doing – you
walk in close fellowship with God. You seek to please God. You walk with Him.
Proverbs 23v18 (AMP) says “For surely there is a latter end [a future and a
reward], and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off.” And may the good
Lord keep you in Him until the end in Jesus name, amen.
Supplementary Text
“Now to Him Who is able to keep you without
stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you]
unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in
triumphant joy and exultation [with
unspeakable, ecstatic delight] – To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus
Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority,
before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so
be it).” Jude 1v24-25 (AMP)
Prayer
Father we thank You for Your Word this day. Father,
draw us closer to Yourself. Help us to walk in close fellowship with Your
Spirit all the days of our lives in Jesus name, amen.
