Learning from Jehoshapath (3)
Hello everyone,
How are you doing
on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“And now, behold, the children of Ammon
and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they
came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them
not; Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy
possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. O our God, wilt thou not judge
them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us;
neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. And all Judah stood
before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.” 2
Chronicles 20v10-13 (KJV)
After Jehoshapath
had set himself to seek the Lord and to fast, he began to pray in front of the
people. First he praised God and magnified him, and then he reported his
enemies unto the Lord. Beloved, it is time to report that situation to the
Lord. It is time to say “And now, behold…” There is nothing too difficult for
Him to do. He has all wisdom, knowledge and understanding and can give you the
answers to the problems that you seek, and the peace that passeth all
understanding. Ask Him to be the judge of the situation. Be open with Him as to
your weakness in this situation and let Him know that Lord, my eyes are upon
Thee.
Prayer
Why don’t you go
ahead and pray to God about whatever it is that may be a problem to you.
