The Life!!!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing today? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” John 14v6 (KJV)

Some will say eating, drinking, partying, shopping … is “life.” They are enjoying “life” to the fullest. A song I learnt when I was younger goes – “life without Jesus, is like a donut, is like a donut, is like a donut, life without Jesus, is like a donut, cause there’s a hole in the middle of your heart.” Indeed Jesus is the life. Without Jesus, one’s life can seem aimless, empty and without purpose. Yes you might enjoy certain things for a while, but they are temporary. Our Lord Jesus said, “And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.” (John 17v3, AMP). Hallelujah! We see again a difference between what Jesus represents and what the enemy seeks to do in John 10v10 (AMP) “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” Are you in need of life? Are you cumbered with many troubles? Is your life lacking meaning? Come to Jesus today! Are you already in a relationship with a living God, but are not enjoying “a rich and satisfying life”? Speak to the Lord about it.

Supplementary Text
“But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given Me the seal of His approval.”... The true bread of God is the One who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” “Sir,” they said, “give us that bread every day.” Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.” John 6v27, 33-35 (NLT)

Prayer
Father, we thank You for everything. Father we thank You because Jesus is the life, and to know You and the Lord Jesus is eternal life. We pray that we will experience life and life more abundantly. We pray that You will restore unto us the joy of Your salvation, that You will show us Your plans for our lives, and help us to fulfill the purpose for which You created us in Jesus name, amen.
