The Way!!!

How are you doing today? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3v16 (KJV)

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.” John 3v16 (AMP)

What might one do to be saved? How might one have eternal life? Jesus is the Way! Acts 4v11-12 (NLT) “For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Hallelujah. And it is a simple truth, yet a hard one because as humans we might ask questions such as, but I am a good person, or I go to Church or compared to those others, I am doing pretty well. Or people may take the stance that they do not believe in God at all. I heard a testimony of a guy who had grown up in the church, he believed because his dad believed, he later went his own way, and even became an atheist, but he liked hiking, and said, someone must have created this! Hallelujah. John 6v35 (KJV) writes “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.” Are you hungry today? Do you feel a void in your life? Are you without purpose, or love, or joy, peace, rest, a future, a hope? You need a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. Not just a I go to Sunday, I read my Bible and pray, you need a personal relationship with the living God. That is, you acknowledge the price He paid for you, because we have all sinned, and you admit you also have sinned, and you need His forgiveness and His Lordship. Thereinafter, you walk with Him, be honest with Him, talk to Him, and He will give you a new life, put His Spirit in you, and lead His precious Holy Spirit.

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” John 3v36 (NIV)

Prayer

Father, we thank You for everything. Thank You for demonstrating Your love for us by sending Jesus to die for us. Thank You Jesus for laying down Your life for us. We love and appreciate You Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in Jesus name, amen.
