Trust God!!!
Hello
everyone,
How are
you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. God is our Father
and one of the basic things He wants His children to do is to trust Him.
Hebrews 11v6 is explicit in saying that without faith, it is impossible
to please God. The Amplified Bible says “But
without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him.
For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists
and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him
[out].”
Hebrews 3 talks of how God was upset and
irritated with some people. Verses 17-19 (AMP) say “And with whom was He
irritated and provoked and grieved for forty years? Was it not
with those who sinned, whose dismembered bodies were
strewn and left in the desert? And to whom did He swear that they
should not enter His rest, but to those who disobeyed [who had not listened to
His word and who refused to be compliant or be persuaded]? So
we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest], because of their unwillingness
to adhere to and trust in and rely on God [unbelief had
shut them out].”
Child of God, do you believe in God? Do you rely
on Him and trust in Him always? It is easy to criticize the children of Israel
for their unbelief. It is easy to say that if you were the one who had
witnessed all the miracles, signs and wonders that God did in Egypt, you will
trust Him in the wilderness. But how often we forget the hand of the Lord? How
often we become anxious and worried when a new situation presents itself. We
need to get to the point of trusting God always. It doesn’t matter how
different a situation might look, God has earned the right to be trusted by His
children. Trust Him and believe Him always.
Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word. We ask for Your
mercy and forgiveness for any situation where we have showed fear, unbelief and
doubted You. We declare that we trust in You, rely on You and rest in You. We
believe in You Lord; have Your way and be glorified in and through us in Jesus
name, amen.
