His Peace
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God
for His peace that He has given to us. John 14v27 (AMP) says, “Peace I leave
with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives
do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let them be
afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not
permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled].”
Here,
the Lord makes a difference between His peace and the peace of the world. If we
look at the peace that the world gives, it is unreliable – it really cannot be
trusted. A person can tell you not to worry, but anything can happen to that
person. On the other hand, when the Lord says, be at peace, wow, He is the
owner of heaven and earth; everything submits to Him, He can back it up with His
power and His grace. The world cannot do that. The peace of the world is
fleeting, but God’s peace is lasting. The world’s peace is unwarranted, but
God’s peace can be trusted. Hallelujah.
Beloved,
God has given you His peace and He is asking today that you should not allow
yourself to be agitated anymore, don’t be disturbed… don’t be afraid. Do not be
afraid, and do not be worried. In conclusion, 1 Peter 1v2 says, “who were chosen
and foreknown by God the Father and consecrated (sanctified, made holy) by the spirit
to be obedient to Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and to be sprinkled with [His]
blood: May grace (spiritual blessing) and peace be given you in an increasing
abundance [that spiritual peace to be realized in and through Christ, freedom
from fears, agitating passions, and moral conflicts].” May the peace of God
continue to abound toward us all in Jesus name, amen.
