More than Conquerors
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope
well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for another day that He has made,
and that we can and will rejoice and be glad in it. One of the things that we as
believers are, is that we are more than conquerors.
Romans 8v37 (KJV) tell us that “Nay, in
all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.”
Hallelujah. Synonyms for conqueror include vanquisher, defeater, and captor.
Sometimes as believers, we do not “feel” as if we are conquerors. But because
of Him who loved us, that is exactly who we are. We are not just conquerors but
we are more than conquerors. Believe it! Indeed we know from 1 John 4v4 that
greater is He that is in us, than He that is in the world.
1 John 5v4 (NIV) lets us know that “For
everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome
the world, even our faith.” In Romans 8, we get to know that because of Him who
loved us, we are more than conquerors over affliction, suffering, and
tribulation. Beloved, what is it that is putting you down? Begin to confess
your surpassing victory because of Him who loved you and gave Himself for you.
Prayer
Father we thank You so very much for Your
love for us. We thank You that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor things impending and threatening, nor things to come, nor
powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Thank You
so much o God for we are indeed more than conquerors and gain a surpassing
victory through Him who loved us (Romans 8v37-39).
