His Way (2)
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope
well and bubbling in the Lord. We know that God has a way of doing things that
is much better than ours (Isaiah 55). We also know that He would love to show
us the way that we should go, in fact to lead us along the best pathway for our
lives (Psalm 32v8). Even more wonderful, we know that He has given us His Word
which tells us God’s way of doing things.
In Joshua 1v8 (KJV), God tells Joshua “This
book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt mediate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is
written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou
shalt have good success.” Amen. As we read and meditate in the Word of God, we
have more and more insight into who God is and His way of doing things.
Indeed, God’s word is given to us so that
we can learn to live in conformity to God’s will. 2 Timothy 3v16-17, we are
also told that “Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and
profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction
of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in
holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action), So
that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly
equipped for every good work.” Let’s begin to dig deeper into the Word of God.
Prayer
Father, we thank You so very much for
Your Word, the revelation of who You are and Your way of doing things. We ask
for great grace to dig deep into Your Word. We pray that You will give us
spiritual wisdom and insight so that we might grow in our knowledge of God, and
that our hearts will be flooded with light so that we can understand the
confident hope You have given to those You called, Your holy people, who are
Your rich and glorious inheritance (Ephesians 1v17-18, NLT) in Jesus name,
amen.
