He is Faithful

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. One thing our God is among other things is that He is faithful. To be faithful could mean:

-       Strict or thorough in the performance of duty

-       True to one’s word, promises, vows etc

-       Steady in allegiance or affection; loyal; constant

-       Reliable, trusted, or believed

-       Adhering or true to fact, a standard or an original, accurate

Indeed, our God is faithful. He is faithful to do what He has promised. He is reliable, trustworthy and can be believed. He is strict and thorough in performing what He has said He would. He is faithful.

We see this in scripture, where the Bible tells us: “Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps His covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes His unfailing love on those who love Him and obey His commands” (Deuteronomy 7:9, NLT); and “He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He” (Deuteronomy 32v4, KJV). In Genesis 39v21 (NLT) says “But the Lord was with Joseph in the prison and showed Him His faithful love. And the Lord made Joseph a favorite with the prison warden.” Our God is indeed faithful.

Prayer

Father, we thank You so very much for this day. We thank You for Your faithfulness. You are indeed faithful. We thank You for Your faithful love and kindness and goodness. We are truly grateful for all that You do in Jesus name, amen.
