Faithful to Deliver
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Our God is a
Deliverer. To deliver means to “to set free or liberate.” Synonyms include to
rescue, release and save. Through scripture, we see God being there for His
children and setting them free from tough and very discouraging situations. He
delivered the people of Israel time and time again.
Moses’
father-in-law, Jethro said, “… Blessed be the Lord, who hath delivered you out of the hand of the
Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who hath delivered the people from under the
hand of the Egyptians” Exodus 18v10 (KJV). Importantly, He delivered us from
our sins. Matthew 1:21 (KJV) says “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou
shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins.”
Beloved,
God is faithful to deliver. It doesn’t matter what you are going through.
Isaiah 49v24-26 (AMPC) says “Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands
of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives
go? But the Lord says, “The captives of
warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I
will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children. I
will feed your enemies with their own flesh. They will be drunk with rivers of
their own blood. All the world will know that I, the Lord, am your
Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.” Hallelujah.
Prayer
Father,
we thank You for Your goodness, Your faithfulness and Your deliverance.
Beloved, is there a situation you need deliverance from? Why not cry out to God
for it. “He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how
shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8v32, KJV).
