His Peace (2)

-->
Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His peace. Looking at John 14v27 (AMP) that says, “Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled].” We know that the peace of the world is fleeting, unreliable, and cannot really be guaranteed. But the peace that Jesus calls “my peace” is so different.

First, Jesus is called the Prince of Peace. When His birth was announced in Luke 2v14 (KJV), the Word of God says “Glory to God in highest heaven, and on earth peace, good will toward men." Isaiah 9v7 (KJV) also speaks of Jesus saying, “Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end.” Hallelujah. Beloved, peace to you and all that concerns you. On earth, Jesus brought peace and lived in peace. Continually He spoke to us that we should have peace.

For example, Mark 4 tells of a time when Jesus told the disciples, let us go over to the other side. As they journeyed across the sea, a storm arose. The disciples were afraid, they woke Jesus up and said “Master, carest Thou not that we perish? And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?” (Mark 4v38-42). Child of God, Jesus says this same peace of His, He has given us. I don’t know what situation you are going through, but every knee bows and all tongue confesses that Jesus is Lord, at His name. When we are afraid, we are showing our lack of trust and faith in Him. Call on Jesus today and let His peace be yours.

Prayer
Father, we thank You so much for this day. We thank You for the peace that You have given to us. We thank You that this peace shall be multiplied toward us. Blessed be Your name in Jesus name, amen. Father, we submit to You and receive the peace of Christ, refusing to allow ourselves to be agitated, disturbed, fearful, intimidated, cowardly and unsettled anymore in Jesus name, amen.
