Praying and Believing (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Looking at Mark 11v22-24 (AMP) again, the Amplified Version says “And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].”

The King James Version says “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.          Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” Mark 11v22-24 (KJV). Here Jesus is using an example that seems practically impossible – that of casting a mountain into the sea; but He says hat is needed to make this a reality is faith in God. A constant faith in God. Beloved, have faith in God, in His abilities, His promises and His love for you and I.

Moreover, He says do not doubt at all. Synonyms for doubt include hesitation, uncertainty, reservation, misgiving, distrust, disbelief, qualm, suspicion, skepticism, and disbelieve. Our Lord Jesus is saying do not have any of these things when making your requests – only believe.

Prayer Point
Father, we thank God for all that He is to us. Father, we apologize for any doubt or lack of trust we have shown in time past. We thank You for we trust in You and in Your Word forever and ever amen.
