Not Weary!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. The Bible tells us that:

Primary Text: Galatians 6v9-10
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6v9-10 (KJV)

I am reminded of when Peter was asking how many times should one forgive their neighbors, and Jesus replied seventy times seven times (Matthew 18v21&22). When should we stop doing good? Never - just keep on keeping on… Jesus, anointed by the Holy Spirit and with power, went about doing good, healing all those that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10v38). Don’t get tired of the good things you are doing for your neighbor, and to fellow believers. In Acts 9, we are told of a woman called Dorcas, who was “full of good works and almsdeeds” (v36). Dorcas was sick, and then she died. But because of her good works, people did not let her go that easy. Eventually, she was brought back to life when Peter prayed. Nehemiah also prayed, “Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.” (Nehemiah 13v14, KJV). It is good to do good works. Do not get tired of doing it. May God remember you for good for all the good works you have done in Jesus name, amen.

Supplementary Text:
“Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous and distribute and contribute to the needy [of the church as embodiment and proof of fellowship], for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” Hebrews 13v16 (AMP)

“Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.” Romans 12v21 (NLT)

Prayer
Abba Father, we thank You for You are a God of faithfulness. A good and kind God. Father, we are praying for an anointing of Your Spirit, and power. We pray for the grace to keep on doing good, and not be overcome by evil. We pray that You will be with us always, and You will use us as instruments to do good and heal all those that are oppressed of the devil in Jesus name we pray, amen.
