The Trinity
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“For
He [the Father] has put all things in subjection under His [Christ’s] feet. But
when it says, All things are put in subjection [under Him], it is evident that
He [Himself] is excepted Who does the subjecting of all things to Him. However,
when everything is subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also subject
Himself to [the Father] Who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in
all [be everything to everyone, supreme, the indwelling and controlling factor
of life].” 1 Corinthians 15v27-28 (AMP)
Genesis
1v26-27 (AMP) says “God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make
mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority
over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all
of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created
man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and
female He created them.” Amen. The Trinity is God the Father, God the Son, and
God the Holy Spirit. How can this be some might ask? As a pastor put it, he is
to his son a father; to his wife, a husband; and to his mother, a son; but he
is still the same person. There are certain ways in which he relates to his
son, that he wouldn’t to his wife or his mother, and vice versa. However, as we
see in 1 Corinthians 15v27-28, God the Father conferred authority to God the
Son, but He Himself is not subject to God the Son.
