Into His Very Ears
Dearly Beloved. I trust this finds you well and
bubbling in the Lord. God loves us so much and He cares for us. When we call,
He hears us and He acts. He is a Father in the true
sense of the word. Ephesians 3v14-15 (AMPC) says “For this reason [seeing
the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my
knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, For Whom every family in
heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its
title and derives its name].” Hallelujah. God is our Father.
In trouble, we should always come to Him. Psalm 18v6 (AMPC) says “In my distress [when
seemingly closed in] I called upon the Lord and cried to my God; He heard my
voice out of His temple (heavenly dwelling place), and my cry came before Him,
into His [very] ears.” Here scripture says, his cry came into his very ears.
Reminds me of how parents can distinguish the cry or laughter or voice of their
own children out of many others. Psalm 55v22 (AMPC) encourages us by saying
“Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain
you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to
slip, fall, or fail).” Similarly, 1 Peter 5v7 (AMPC) says “Casting the whole of
your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and
for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you
watchfully.” God will never disappoint you.
Prayer
Father, we thank You because Your eyes are upon
us and Your ears are attentive to our cry. Indeed, our cry goes into Your very
ears. Your eyes roam to and fro the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are
committed to you. Thank You so much for caring for us. We love You and
appreciate You in Jesus name, amen.
