No worries! Scenario 3
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you in Jesus name, amen. So we know that God cares about us. He cares about our physical needs, emotions, spiritual growth, … everything that pertains to us, He cares about it. We have also learnt that as Jehovah Jireh, He is able to provide for us. He did so for the children of Israel when they cried out for flesh to eat in the wilderness (Numbers 11v21-23). We have also seen that even when things seem impossible, He is still God and we should be careful what we say (2 Kings 7). Again, we see how Jesus approached a situation where there was a great need, but little available physically. Even the disciples were uncertain about what to do, but God is never caught unawares. The situation was such that there was a great multitude, and there was nothing to eat, and Jesus called His disciples and said (Mark 8v1):
“I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with Me three days, and have nothing to eat:
And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.
And His disciples answered Him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?” Mark 8v2-4
Perhaps you are in a situation where Jesus has identified a great need, a need for which He is compassionate about. And you are wondering, Lord in the midst of this wilderness, where can a man find bread to satisfy all these men? But He may be asking you as He asked them:
“…How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.
And He commanded the people to sit down on the ground, and He took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to His disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.
And they had a few small fishes: and He blessed, and commanded them to set them also before them.
So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.
And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and He sent them away.” Mark 8v5-9
Hallelujah.
Our God is more than enough!
Have a very blessed day.
And so Lord, we just thank You so much for the Word of God. We thank You for how it instructs us in righteousness. Lord, to this end, we lift up the little things we have before You, we thank You for them, and hand them to You, asking that You multiply them, that they might be used to meet the needs for which You have identified in Jesus name, amen. We thank You for the small things that we have, we pray You bless them O Lord, and use them again to meet the needs for which You are compassionate about. We pray that Your name above all will be glorified. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.
