How Great is His Mercy

Dearly beloved.

We thank God for the mercy of God. Lamentations 3:22-24 (NLT) tells us that “The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him.” Alleluia.

Mercy can be defined as compassion or forgiveness shown towards someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm. God shows us His mercy continually. Indeed, it is because of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is His faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22 – 23, KJV). Father, we say a big thank You for Your mercy towards us.
