Hope in His Mercy

Dearly beloved. I trust this finds you well. Do you know that God is delighted when we trust, rely on and hope in His mercy? Psalm 145:10-11 (AMPC) says ““He delights not in the strength of the horse, nor does He take pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord takes pleasure in those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy and loving-kindness. [Ps. 145:20.]”

Basically, God isn’t impressed by a “I can do it all by myself attitude.” The Message Bible puts it this way “He’s not impressed with horsepower; the size of our muscles means little to him. Those who fear GOD get GOD’s attention; they can depend on his strength.” Alleluia. Let’s look to God today and hope in His mercy and unfailing love.
