Receive Strength (2)
Dearly
beloved. I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. Indeed we are
encouraged in Philippians 4:4 (NLT) “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say
it again—rejoice!“ One reason we need to rejoice and be full of joy in the Lord
instead of being sad and dejected is because His joy is our strength (Nehemiah
8:10). You will find that you are more energized to work and face challenges
when joyful and rejoicing.
Proverbs
17:22 says a merry or joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a
person’s strength. Today, by the Spirit of God, receive beauty for ashes, the
oil of joy for mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of
heaviness in Jesus name, amen. Be full of joy in the Lord, again I say rejoice.
Worship, praise, play some beautiful praise songs and rejoice in the
Lord.
