A Study of Psalm 3 (14)
Dearly Beloved, I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His holy word through which we receive instruction, direction, guidance, encouragement and comfort. Psalm 3 has been a blessing to study as it shows what to do amidst troubles that may arise. We continue our study by looking at verse 7. The AMPC says “Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.”
One thing we see emphasized in this Psalm is constant
communication with God to involve Him in our situation. The Psalmist here
implores God to rise up and save him. He also declares what God has done in
time past. 1 Thessalonians 5v17 (KJV) says “Pray without ceasing”. Mark 11v22
(AMPC) tells us “And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly].”
Amen. Be unceasing in the faith you have towards God and demonstrate this by
praying always instead of worrying and fretting. Hallelujah.
Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word. We pray that You will arise and act on our behalf in Jesus name, amen. You have never ever failed and we know that You cannot fail. We continue to look up to You and our faces are lightened and not put to shame. Blessed be Your holy name forevermore, in Jesus name, amen.
