A Study of Psalm 3 (15)
Dearly Beloved, I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His grace and presence and always watching over us. We thank Him because we can go to Him with any issue that we have, because He cares for us. Indeed, He alone is our salvation. Today, we conclude our review of Psalm 3. The 8th and final verse of Psalm 3 says:
KJV: “Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy
blessing is upon thy people.”
TLB: “For salvation comes from God. What joys he gives
to all his people.”
TPT: “For the Lord alone is my Savior. What a feast of favor and bliss
he gives his people! Pause in his presence.”
This verse is clear in saying in God alone belongs
salvation, and He alone is our Saviour. We cannot and should not look elsewhere
for help. Psalm 27v1 (KJV) says “The Lord is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of
whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 3v8 (KJV)
tells us that “Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing
is upon thy people. Selah.” Hallelujah. God
is indeed our salvation, we will rejoice and not be afraid. Psalm 27v14&15
(TLB) says “Don’t
be impatient. Wait for the Lord, and he will come and save you! Be brave,
stouthearted, and courageous. Yes, wait and he will help you.” Hallelujah.
Prayer
Father, we thank You so much for Your goodness and
grace. We thank You that You alone are our salvation. We will continue to put
our hope and trust in You, waiting patiently on You. Blessed be Your holy name
forevermore in Jesus name, amen.
