Faith

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text

“And hereby do we know that we know Him…” 1 John 2v3 (KJV)

Now, one mark of a person that knows the Lord is faith. Faith in Him, faith in His Word, faith in the Son, faith! 1 John 5v1&10 (AMP) tells us that “Everyone who believes (adheres to, trusts, and relies on the fact) that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah) is a born-again child of God; and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him (His offspring)…. He who believes in the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] has the testimony [possesses this divine attestation] within himself. He who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him out to be and represented Him as a liar, because He has not believed (put his faith in, adhered to, and relied on) the evidence (the testimony) that God has borne regarding His Son.” Jesus is the Christ and He is the way to the Father. Those who say they know God cannot deny the Son. “For a person who doesn’t believe in Christ, God’s Son, can’t have God the Father either. But he who has Christ, God’s Son, has God the Father also” (1 John 2v23, TLB).

Perhaps you never believed till now and accepted the testimony God gave of His Son. Perhaps you are not born again. The Bible says:

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”  Romans 10v9-10

You can say this prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You today, confessing that I am a sinner. I am sorry for all that I have done and ask that You forgive me for all of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Lord Jesus, I ask that You be Lord and Saviour over my life. I believe that You came to die for my sins, and that God raised You from the dead. Thank You Father for translating me out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. Thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit of promise. Please keep me till the end in You, and may Your Name alone be glorified in my life, in Jesus name I pray, amen.

If you said this prayer today, know that you are now born-again, and a child of God and that there is much jubilation in heaven because of you. Begin to attend a Bible-believing church, and keep the faith! Welcome into God’s family.
