Being Born Again

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“And hereby do we know that we know Him…” 1 John 2v3 (KJV)

One reason as believers that we know that we know God is that we are born of Him and we begin to bear fruit that is evidence of this. 1 John 2v29 (TLB) saying “Since we know that God is always good and does only right, we may rightly assume that all those who do right are His children” while 1 John 3v9 (KJV) tells us that “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in Him: and He cannot sin, because He is born of God.” Hallelujah. Who is he that is born of God? “Everyone who believes (adheres to, trusts, and relies on the fact) that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah) is a born-again child of God; ...” 1 John 5v1 (AMP). Thankfully, as we “heard the Good News about how to be saved, and trusted Christ,” we “were marked as belonging to Christ by the Holy Spirit” (Ephesians 1v13, TLB) and this same Spirit “speaks to us deep in our hearts and tells us that we really are God’s children.” (Romans 8v16, TLB).

Supplementary Text
“But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name – Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!].” John 1v12-13 (AMP)

Prayer
Our Father in heaven, we thank You so much for the love You have bestowed upon us that we should be called and are indeed the children of God. We are so grateful. Thank You for the seed of God that is on the inside of us and the Spirit of God that bears witness with our spirits that we are the children of God. We pray for loved ones, friends and relatives that do not know You, that You will send laborers to them in Jesus name, amen. Continue to be glorified in our lives o God, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
