His love for us
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“For
God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes
in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3v16 (NIV)
God
loves you and I and the world so much. Even before we loved Him and regardless
of whether we have accepted Him or not, we know He loves us. Romans 5v8 (NIV)
says that “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were
still sinners, Christ died for us.” Ephesians 3 tells us of this love that
passeth knowledge. Paul praying said “May Christ through your faith [actually]
dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be
rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, That you may have the power
and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people,
the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and
depth [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through
experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere
knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being]
unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine
Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!”
Ephesians 3v17-19 (AMP) I pray this prayer for myself and us all, that Christ
will truly dwell in our hearts by faith, that we will come to practically know
this love of Christ that goes beyond just knowledge. I pray that we will exude
the love of Christ and it will be evident to all we come across that Jesus
loves us and He loves them too. Remember that nothing can separate us from the
love of God that is in Christ Jesus.
Supplementary Text
“For
I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor
any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is
in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8v38-39 (KJV)
Prayer
Father
we thank You for Your incredible love for us. We pray that by faith this love
of Christ will truly dwell and abide in all our hearts in Jesus name, amen.
