His Faithfulness
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the
Lord.
Primary Text
“PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, Ephesus,
and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 1v1 (KJV)
Beloved, how faithful are you? What has been committed into your
hands? What does the Lord require of you to do? How faithful are you in that
which you have been given? We see Ruth in the Bible, being faithful and loyal
to her mother-in-law, despite the fact that her husband was dead… and she was
greatly rewarded for it. Jesus was faithful to the task that was given to Him,
praying that the will of God rule over His will, and He was greatly rewarded
for it. Matthew 25v14-30 likens the Kingdom of Heaven to a man who travelled
and gave talents (his wealth/money) to his three servants, according to their
various abilities. The first two traded and did something with their talents,
and doubled what was given to them. The last one buried his talent. What has
been put in your hands and what are you doing with it. Of course the master was
very disappointed with the one who did nothing with his talent, and he was put
out, while the other servants were given even more responsibilities. Matthew
25v29-30 (AMP) says “For to everyone who
has [and values his blessings and gifts from God, and has used them wisely],
more will be given, and [he will be richly supplied so that] he will have an
abundance; but from the one who does not have [because he has ignored or
disregarded his blessings and gifts from God], even what he does have will be
taken away. And throw out the worthless servant into the outer darkness; in
that place [of grief and torment] there will be weeping [over sorrow and pain]
and grinding of teeth [over distress and anger].”
Prayer
Father, I thank You for every talent and gifting You have given
to me. Please open my eyes to see and recognize them and help me to be faithful
to use them to the glory of Your name in Jesus name, amen.
