Jesus
Hello everyone,
How are you doing
on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. This morning, I saw a
message from one of the brethren, highlighting this phrase from Ephesians 3v17:
“That Christ may dwell in your hearts…” It spoke to Colossians 2v2, another
verse I had come across and had come to mind to share.
Primary Text
“My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so
that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that
they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,” Colossians 2v2 (NIV)
“This is what I have
asked of God for you: that you will be encouraged and knit together by strong
ties of love, and that you will have the rich experience of knowing Christ with
real certainty and clear understanding. For
God’s secret plan, now at last made known, is Christ himself.” Colossians 2v2
(NLT)
“[For my concern is] that their hearts may be braced
(comforted, cheered, and encouraged) as they are knit together in love, that
they may come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding, and that
they may become progressively more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of
God, [which is] Christ (the Anointed One).” Colossians 2v2 (AMP)
Even as we meditate
on it, I pray that Christ will really dwell in our hearts by faith, that we
will come to know the mystery of all Christ really represents, and will truly
come to know Him and count everything else but dung in comparison to the
excellency of the knowledge of Him in Jesus name, amen.
Prayer
Father, I thank You
for Your Word this day. I pray for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the
knowledge of God. I pray that we will truly come to know all that Jesus
represents, that we will have sweet and intimate fellowship with the Holy
Spirit and that when people see us they will be able to attest to the fact that
we have a relationship with You. This is our prayer in Jesus name, amen.
