Spiritual Blessings

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text

“May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!” Ephesians 1v3 (AMP)

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.” Ephesians 1v3 (NLT)

We thank God for the spiritual blessings He has blessed us with which we get because we belong to Christ, are in Christ and are united to Christ … and there are so many of them. For one, we have eternal life. John 17v3 (AMP) says “And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.” We know that God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. To have a relationship with the immortal, invisible and only wise God is indeed a spiritual blessing. We also have the Holy Spirit given to us, who gives us these blessings. Galatians 5v22-23 (AMP) “But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].” These are spiritual blessings, they cannot be conjured by any human or the flesh. The human nature can be happy for sometime based on different circumstances, but only the life giving Spirit of God can give you joy. Only the Spirit of God can give you real peace, and love, kindness, goodness e.t.c. We thank God for every spiritual blessing He has blessed us with.

Prayer

Father, we thank You for Your goodness and Your faithfulness. We thank You for the spiritual blessings with which You have blessed us with in Christ Jesus, and through Your Spirit. We are indeed grateful. We pray we enter into the fullness and enjoy all spiritual blessings You have blessed us with in Jesus name, amen. Help us to see areas that we are not tapping into what You have already provided for us. This we pray in Jesus name, amen.
