Have Faith in God
Hello
everyone,
How are
you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for
His mercies, for His grace, for His love for us. We give Him all of the glory
in the name of Jesus, amen. We thank Him for translating us out of the kingdom
of darkness into the Kingdom of His dear Son whom He loves (Colossians 1v13).
We thank God for in Him we are made complete (Colossians 2v10). We thank God
because we are the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12v27) and in Him we live and
move and have our being (Acts 17v28). This is just an encouragement from the
Bible that God:
“He
will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and
will save them.” Psalm 145v19 (King James Version)
“He
grants the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cries for help and
rescues them.” Psalm 145v19 (New Living Translation).
“He
does what’s best for those who fear Him - hears them call out, and saves
them.” Psalm 145v19 (The Message)
So for
as many of you who fear the Lord, know that He will fulfill your desires. Your
cries are not falling on deaf ears. He hears you and He will save you. Indeed
His Word says “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD
delivereth him out of them all.” (Psalm 34v19). Again, He has told us that:
“Delight thyself also in the LORD: and He shall give thee the desires of thine
heart.” (Psalm 37v4). ““Have faith in God,” Jesus answered them.” (Mark 11v23).
Even as the year comes to an end, you may be looking at the looooong list of
things you had wanted to accomplish and were asking God for, and perhaps
thinking, I am not close to where I thought I will be – let us remember to
count our blessings and to look at our lives through a spiritual lens. Luke
12v15 (KJV) says “… Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life
consisteth not in the abundance of things which he possesseth.” On the other
hand, we know that eternal life is to know the only true God and Jesus whom He
sent (John 17v3). The question then lies in, am I truly experiencing and
enjoying eternal life. How is my fellowship with God? How is my fellowship with
my fellow brethren? What truly counts? Have I truly grown in my trust, reliance
and dependence on God and in His will for me?
Have a
very blessed day.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank You so much for today. We thank You
for it is a day that You have made and we shall rejoice and be glad in it. We
thank You for Your faithfulness. We look back over our lives and see how Your goodness
and mercy has indeed been following us. Thank You because in all things You
work for the good of those who love You, who have been called according to Your
purpose. We give ourselves as living sacrifices unto You, holy and acceptable
unto You, that is our reasonable service. And we pray as Jesus did Lord that
not my will, but Yours be done in Jesus name, amen.
