Praise the Lord!!!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Happy New Year J I hope
that 2016 is off to a great start for you and yours.
Primary Text
“I will extol thee, my
God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I
bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord,
and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation
shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will
speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.” Psalm
145v1-5 (KJV)
Our God is great and greatly to be praised. There is so much to thank Him
for – indeed He is worthy of our gratitude. This year, let us make thanksgiving
our lifestyle. Hebrews 13v5 (AMP) saying “ Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a
sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.” Hallelujah. Be blessed as you praise the
Lord with the hymn – Praise to the Lord, the Almighty - please see below):
Prayer
Father,
I thank You for this day that You have made. Thank You for a new year and Your
every blessing. Grant me the grace to ever praise You with a heart of
gratitude. I pray that Your praise will never depart from my mouth but through
Christ, I will always bring a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of my
lips thankfully acknowledging, confessing and glorifying Your holy name in Jesus
name, amen.

Hymn – Praise
to the Lord, the Almighty
“Praise to the Lord, the Almighty,
the King
of creation!
O my soul, praise Him,
for He is thy
health and
salvation!
All
ye who hear,
Now to His temple draw
near;
Sing
now in glad adoration!”
Praise
to the Lord, who o’er all
things
so wondrously reigneth,
Who, as
on wings of an eagle,
uplifteth,
sustaineth.
Hast
thou not seen
How thy
desires all have been
Granted in what He ordaineth?
Praise
to the Lord, who hath fearfully,
wondrously,
made thee!
Health
hath vouchsafed and, when
heedlessly
falling, hath stayed thee.
What
need or grief
Ever
hath failed of relief?
Wings of His mercy did shade thee.
Praise
to the Lord, who doth prosper
thy
work and defend thee,
Who from
the heavens the streams of
His
mercy doth send thee.
Ponder
anew
What the
Almighty can do,
Who with His love doth befriend thee.
Praise
to the Lord! Oh, let all that
is
in me adore Him!
All that
hath life and breath, come
now
with praises before Him!
Let
the Amen
Sound
from His people again;
Gladly for aye we adore Him.
