Our Source of all Strength
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“Have
you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator
of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary: there is no searching
of His understanding. He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has
no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to
abound]. [II Cor. 12:9].” Isaiah 40v28-29 (AMP)
If one lacks strength, purpose will
not be fulfilled. Proverbs 24v10 says “If thou faint in the day of adversity,
thy strength is small.” When trouble and adversary comes, lack of strength may
make one unable to stand in that day. O may our strength be renewed in Jesus
name, amen. For the believer, God is the strength of our lives. He is the One
who can empower us with the willingness to go on, the ability to work, and the
perseverance to continue in the midst of adversity. 2 Corinthians 12v9-10 (AMP)
says “But He said to me, My grace (My favor and
loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and
enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and
power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves
most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly
glory in my weaknesses and
infirmities, that the strength and
power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell)
upon me! So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities,
insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am
I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength).” Indeed,
may we be strengthened with might by God’s Spirit in our inner man in Jesus
name, amen (Ephesians 3v16). It is normal for strength to fail, Isaiah 40v30
telling us that even the young men faint and grow weary, but for you dear One,
you are linked to the God of all flesh, the everlasting Lord who is the giver
of power to the faint and weary, and the one who multiplies and causes strength
to abound. Are you in need of strength today, why not ask Him for it?
Prayer
Father
God, we thank You for You are our strength. We look to You for strength this
day and pray that You will be glorified in all we do in Jesus name, amen.
