A constant reminder

Dearly beloved, I hope this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. Philippians 3:1 (NLT) says “Whatever happens, my dear brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. I never get tired of telling you these things, and I do it to safeguard your faith.” The AMPC says “… To keep writing to you [over and over] of the same things is not irksome to me, and it is [a precaution] for your safety.” As believers, just as Paul found it necessary to keep writing the same things to encourage the believers over and over, it is important for us to keep listening to, hearing, and meditating on the Word of God over and over again – to safeguard our faith. Romans 10v17 (KJV) says “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Are you down, discouraged, feeling weary …? Listen to the Word of God and be encouraged by it.

Hebrews 3v12-14 (NLT) says “Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed we will share in all that belongs to Christ.” Amen. Do not be weary in digging into the Word of God, in fellowshipping with believers and encouraging one another. We also thank God for the Spirit of God who is in us and with us, who helps and encourages us. John 16v12-15 (NLT) says ““There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now. When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own but will tell you what He has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring Me glory by telling you whatever He receives from Me. All that belongs to the Father is Mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever He receives from Me.’” Hallelujah.

Prayer

Father, we thank You for this day that You have made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. We thank You for in You we have hope, life, and joy. We rejoice in You. We pray that we will continually encourage ourselves and each other, and humbly learn at Your feet daily that our faith might be strengthened and remain secure to the glory of Your name, in Jesus name, amen.
