The Creative Power of Faith

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you in Jesus name, amen. The Dakes concordance Bible divides the 11th chapter of Hebrew into different sub-headings like “Faith defined” etc. For verse 3 of the same chapter, the sub-heading is called “creative faith of God,” and the verse reads:

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Hebrews 11v3

Now, a word is something that we do not see, but we know that through the Word of God, the world was made. What can we learn from this and how can we appropriate these in our lives. Taking the example of Abraham, we see in Romans 4v17-18 where it is written that:

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before Him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.” Romans 4v17-18

Initially, when God called Abraham, who was then Abram, in Genesis 12v2, and said to him “I will make of thee a great nation,” he did not even have a child. But God calls those things that be not as though they were. He makes things even by the power of His word. Abraham held on to that word, and the thing which he had been called to be by God, materialized in the physical. And today, he is the father of many nations. How did this happen, Abraham believed God, and the same way God spoke the world into being by His word, and it appeared, is the same way God spoke about the life of Abraham, that he would be the father of many nations, and by holding onto the word, Abraham became the father of many nations.

Many words have been spoken concerning us as the children of God. Those words are true, for God’s Word is True. How can you ensure that it comes to the physical. Well, the first step is that you need to know what God is saying about you, and like Abraham “against hope believe in hope,” and let God’s Word concerning you come to pass in Jesus name, amen.

Have a very blessed day.
