Faith to walk with God
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Grace and peace abound towards you in Jesus name, amen. The Bible talks of Enoch, who walked with God for 300 years, before he was translated to heaven (Genesis 5v21-24). Hebrews 11v5 says that:
“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”
Before Enoch was translated to heaven, he surely faced all the difficulties and challenges that life on earth would bring. He had to feed his family, make certain decisions, watch his children grow up… but for 300 years, he walked with God, and was pleasing to Him. God wants us also to walk with Him. When regardless of what life brings our way we can still remain with Him, that pleases Him. We see in Hebrews 10v37-39 where the Bible says:
“For still a little while (a very little while), and the Coming One will come and He will not delay.
But the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man’s relationship to God, and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him.
But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery (perdition) and are utterly destroyed, but we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by faith preserve the soul.” Hebrews 10v37-39 (Amplified Bible)
Prayer: Lord, help me not to draw back in Jesus name, amen.
Have a very blessed day.
