God is with you (4)

Dearly beloved. I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. God is always with us, even when we don’t think so, or feel it. In Isaiah 49, God told the earth to be joyful. But the people of God were distraught saying, God has forsaken and forgotten them. Do you think God has forgotten you? He hasn’t. Be encouraged from this portion of scripture: “Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me” (Isaiah 49v13-16, KJV)

Child of God, God hasn’t forgotten or forsaken you. You are continually before Him. 1 Peter 3v12 (TLB) says “For the Lord is watching his children, listening to their prayers; but the Lord’s face is hard against those who do evil.” God is with you, His eyes are on you, you are continually before Him and He is listening to your prayers. Be encouraged.
