Put on your Armor

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. As children of God, we are also likened to soldiers. Soldiers have to put on their armor. We are encouraged in Ephesians 6v11 (AMPC) that “Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.”

We see that the armor we are given, is from God - and we need to put it on. This armor helps us to succeed. We see later in the chapter that the armor consists of the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, feet shod with the peace that comes with the Good News. Beloved, let’s put on God’s armor. Amen.
