The face of love – Bears all things
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His grace, His mercy, His love for us, indeed He is faithful.
The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 13v7, one more thing about love, and it is that love:
“Puts up with anything…” (The Message)
“… bears up under anything and everything that comes,…” (Amplified Bible)
“… patiently accepts all things…” (New Century Version)
“…Beareth all things,…” (King James Version)
“… never gives up,…” (New Living Translation)
What does this mean to you? Imagine people loving like this – how much less would divorce rates be. Have you ever said, “if it was me eh, I would have shown that person…” But God’s love, never gives up, bears up under anything and everything that comes – both the planned and the unplanned, the kind and the rude, standing firm in the face of good and evil. What does this mean to you? What does it mean to bear up under anything? Why is it important to bear things? For instance certain pains, fastings, burdens, waiting periods, temptations, trials, accusations, persecutions, uncertainties, criticism, …. what is at the end of the other side of bearing things? What is the impact your bearing something has on another person?
Have a very lovely day.
