The face of love – Kindness

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
We thank God for His grace, His mercy, His love for us. We thank God
for the ability to love, love which is kind. The Bible says that:

“Love is patient, love is kind….” 1 Corinthians 13v4 (NIV)

What does kindness look like? It could be as little as a smile, a pat
on the back, an encouraging word, kindness. It could be helping
someone you see who has a very heavy load to carry it. As one place
put it, something to make the other person smile. It may not
necessarily be convenient, but it would brighten their day. Kindness
is something good. It could be praying for someone. The feeling one
gets after a kind deed is done for them is sometimes surprise, relief,
astonishment, thanks … and God is glorified.

According to the dictionary, being kind is to be compassionate,
generous, agreeable or safe, and caring. The opposite of it would be
like cruel. Sometimes we may be tempted to be unkind, but remember,
the love of God is shed abroad in your heart. Put your self in the
person’s shoes. How would it make the person feel if you did what you
were about to do? What would the consequence of the action be
afterwards. Love being kind looks beyond the person’s nationality,
speech, background, and is just kind. Just like the good Samaritan.
Are you going to be kind?

Have a very blessed day.
