Good things
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? Hope well. We thank God because this is a day which He has made, which we can and will rejoice and be glad in. Our God is a God who knows about good things. The Bible says He is good. Ever think of the testimonies and gifts He gives, they are good. Our God is a good good God. The Bible talks of good things in Psalm 84v11, where it says:
"For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing … " (Amplified Bible)
And we know from the Bible that:
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1v17
"For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee." Psalm 86v5
Sometimes, we may be feeling low and not sure what we can be thankful for. But if we remember that every good gift is from God for instance, the day is a good thing, knowing that You can depend on God is a good gift, legs to walk is a good gift, friends to talk to is a good gift. So we have many many many many good gifts. And as a friend of mine once told me, when someone gives you something, accept it and say thank You. Especially in this case when it is from God, let's recognize and accept the good things He does for us, each minute, each second, of each day.

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for this day which You have made, which we can rejoice and be glad in. We thank You so much for Your goodness. We thank You for You are good. We thank You for the good life that You have given us. We thank You for the good gift of Your Spirit to dwell with us and be in us. We thank You for the good gift of Jesus to die for our sins. We thank You for the good gift of love which You have given us, even while we were yet sinners. We thank You for indeed You are a good God. We thank You for the gifts given by Your Spirit – the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, divers kinds of tongues, interpretation of tongues. We thank You for Your encouragement, and joy, peace and love. We thank You for Your faithfulness. We love and appreciate You O God, thanking You for all these good things and saying blessed be Your holy name o God. Lord God, for as many as do not know You, we pray that You send forth labourers to them in Jesus name, for the harvest indeed is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Thank You Most High God, thank You eternal Rock of ages, thank You everlasting Father. We accept and embrace all Your gifts to us with thanksgiving, appreciating Your presence in our lives, and thanking Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
