The face of love – not puffed up!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God foe His love for us and how He loves us with an everlasting love. Believe it today, Jesus loves you and me as well ☺ What does love look like – one thing it is not, is definitely not puffed up, even as the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 13v4:-
“Charity suffereth long, and is kind: charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,”
The Bible tells us in 1 John 4v7&8, 12&13 that:
“Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.
But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
…No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and His love is brought to full expression in us.
And God has given us His Spirit as proof that we live in Him and He in us.” (New Living Translation).
So let us continue to walk in love – love that is not puffed up – even as expected of children of God, with the full assurance that His Spirit in us, even the Holy Spirit, will enable us to do so.
