The face of love – Believes all things.
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We do serve a great and mighty God, who has enabled us through love to bear all things ☺ Next thing that love does, is trust. The Bible says that love:
“Beareth all things, believeth all things,…” 1 Corinthians 13v7 (KJV)
Other versions say love – always trusts, never loses faith, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, trusts God always. In essence love trusts. In relationships, people always talk about trust. Believing the best of others takes you beyond the zone of suspicion that someone wants to hurt you and do you harm. It also takes a lot of courage to reach beyond what you see, and almost trying to view others as God sees them. It also makes you treat the person as someone who is born for great things, and wanting to see the best come out of them. Something for thought - does believing all things include believing in governments, certain values, principles? What do you think? For me, I guess it would mean seeing it as God would see that particular thing.
With God, without faith it is impossible to please Him, those who come to Him must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11v6). Believing in God, and trusting Him always, takes away the fear of things. Because instead of fearing, you are believing and trusting in God- in His goodness, His love for You, His past testimonies, His past dealings with the children of men, which have shown Him to be good and just and kind ☺ Indeed God is good, and believing, is an act of love.
One verse for thought is in 1 John 4v18:
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out all fear: because fear has torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” (KJV)
