Every Building Block

“In the beginning …” John 1v1 (KJV)

God is the master Builder – the Builder of builders, the Mighty Creator. Genesis 1v1 (AMP) tells us “In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth” while Hebrews 3v4 (AMP) says “For [of course] every house is built and furnished by someone, but the Builder of all things and the Furnisher [of the entire equipment of all things] is God.”  In every building, the materials used to build are very important – whether they be of good quality or low quality would eventually show one day. Matthew 7v24-27 tells us the parable of wise and foolish builders – the wise one built upon the rock by hearing the Word of God and putting it into practice, while the foolish built upon the sand, representing those who heard but did not practice the Word. The rain came, the streams rose and the winds blew and while the first house stayed standing, the second fell down. Beloved, how are you building? We know too that Psalm 127v1 (KJV) tells us that “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” My prayer is that God would be the Builder of all that pertains to us – our lives, homes, ministries, children, work and so on. That we would be obedient to Him and that when the storms come, we would still be standing in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer

Father, I thank You because You are the One who builds all things. I invite You O God to be the Builder of my life. I give You full control to put together all the necessary pieces, equipment and building blocks to make me who You want me to be in Jesus name, amen.
