The Powerful Word of God
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“In the
beginning was the Word …” John 1v1 (KJV)
The
Word of God is strong and it is powerful. Hebrews 4v12 (AMP) tells us that “For
the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active,
operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword,
penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the
immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our
nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and
purposes of the heart.” In the Bible, the first time we see the Word of God
appear is with His creative power where we are told “And God said, let there be
light: and there was light.” In other words, He spoke light into existence. He
spoke and it had to happen. Our God is powerful. Hebrews 11v3 (AMP) thus says
“By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed
(fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word
of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.” Our
God speaks and it is done. Therefore when He gives you a promise, though you
might not see the manifestation immediately, know that it is done. Isaiah
55v10-11 (NIV) says “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not
return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that
it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My word that goes
out from My mouth: it will not return to Me empty but will accomplish what I
desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Beloved, hold on to the
Word of God!
