In everything give thanks

Hello everybody,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Thanks be to the Father, and God of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Primary Text
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5v18 (KJV)

We thank God for He is great, and does wondrous things: He is God alone (Psalm 86v10). We thank Him for His salvation and His deliverance. Indeed, “If it had not been for the LORD who was on our side, when men rose against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:” (Psalm 124v2-3). We thank Him for bringing us up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay and setting our feet upon the rock, and establishing our goings (Psalm 40v2). Hallelujah. We thank Him for His presence, and how He loves us, and sees us through each and every circumstance. We thank Him for Christ in us, the hope of glory (Colossians 1v27). We thank Him for as the Psalmist said, “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed” (Psalm 37v25-26). We thank God for He allows us to come boldly before His throne of grace where we can obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4v16). We thank Him for we dwell in His secret place and abide under His shadows. We declare Him to be our refuge and our fortress, the God in whom we trust. A thousand fall at our side and ten thousand at our right hand but they do not come near us, only with our eyes do we behold and see the reward of the wicked (Psalm 91v1, 2, 7&8). We thank Him for He hears our prayers for our family and loved ones even as we pray for their salvation, they protection, their safety, their cares and their needs. We thank Him for His deliverance and changing us from the inside us, conforming us to the image of Christ (Romans 8v29). We thank Him for we know it is well with us (Isaiah 3v10), and He is good, for His mercy endureth forever (Psalm 106v1). Hallelujah.
